Back Between the LInes

This past weekend we were back between the lines playing our first exhibition games of the pre-season. All the memories and feelings come rushing back and excitement builds when it is time to compete. We've had a good couple weeks of practice, however getting to test it in a real game setting allows for evaluation of what things are missing and the fine tuning that needs to happen. Our trip to Moncton New Brunswick has now become a tradition and we face off against two college teams. This early season road trip serves a dual purpose, 1. We get away from home and spend some time together as a team and bond, and 2. gives our New Brunswick players a chance to play in front of friends and family and then spend the rest of the Thanksgiving weekend at home. Overall the weekend was successful both on the scoreboard but more importantly areas of improvement were identified and we get back to work today.
