We find ourselves in a situation where we get to play for a National Championship. As coach Jordan told our guys today; it is not an opportunity that you get very often in your career. It is a very exciting time to be from Nova Scotia and we should all be very proud about what these young men have accomplished and are set to finish tonight.
The game tips off at 8:15pm/et against the host team Ontario.
We have stuck to the routine we have all week, getting up early for a breakfast and then heading back to the rooms for down time. Before lunch however, we had a meeting outside in the beautiful botannical gardens they have at Humber College campus and then for a 15 minute walk through the woodland trails. It was a great distraction from the pressure of the tournament and good to unplug from all the excitement that is going on today.
We will grab supper around 5:30pm and then head to the gym and zone in to the task at hand and represent our province in a Gold Medal game.
