Research has shown when collegiate men’s basketball players sleep consistently between 8-10 hours per day there are significant increases in performance.

A study out of Stanford found after a 6 week increased sleep period, the results were amazing. The subjects sprinted faster, increased their free throw percentage by 9% and improved their 3-point shooting accuracy by 9.2%.
