- During a tennis match, one player serves to the other and serves the ball out.
- The player served to has a perception of the opponent "They aren't very good, they missed that one, etc"
- The player who served has a perception of themselves "This isn't my strength, that was a bad toss, I am having a bad day, etc"
- The only person in the equation who got it right is the umpire. The ball is out, and that is the call and only correct judgment
- Do the best that you can every single day/play and live with the result. Focus on what you can control which is what your body is doing.
