Write it down

If you want to remember something you have to write it down. You need a system to capture the ideas, thoughts that you accumulate over the day. I started using a notebook with pen and paper but I found that I didn't do it consistently enough. Recently, I began writing my thoughts and ideas in a running word document, I will eventually print them out and then put them in a binder to refer back to or make side notes on that printed version.

Don't underestimate the value of a book you are as a reasonable place to capture and take notes. I was listening to Coach George Raveling speak the other day and he said that all the books he reads he fills the blank pages with notes, great idea.
