Temple Run = Life Lessons

I was playing temple run the other day, a highly addictive iphone game introduced to me by my good friend Geoff. What I thought was just a way to pass the time turned into a life lesson. The idea of the game is to run as far as you can while collecting coins along the way, these coins allow you to purchase power-ups and increase your characters abilities. At first I was so concerned with collecting every coin along the way, that I would end up falling off the path of running into an obstacle. Once I decided to just try and run as far as I could and not worry about the coins I ended up going much further and actually collecting more coins than when I was trying to focused solely on the coins. Maybe temple run isn't just a game to pass the time??
