Final practice in Nova Scotia took place Thursday night at the SMU Tower and now we are ready to leave for Toronto in the morning.
Flight departs at 8:00am which means an early 6:30am rendez-vous at the the Halifax airport to get through security and board the plane as a team.
Once we arrive in Toronto, we will be shuttled by bus to our residence for check-in. We hit the practice court at 12:00pm for 1 hour shout around. The tournament doesn't begin for us until Tuesday morning at 11:15am when tip off against the Territories. This will give us plenty of time to acclimatize to our environment and settle into our accommodations.
The feel from the team on Thursday was pretty calm and relaxed but I'm sure the emotions will pick up over the next few days as the buzz of nationals starts to kick in.
